This area is going under a concerted revitalization effort. Suwanee is a small, vibrant community of approximately 10,000 located 30 miles north of Atlanta. Suwanee was incorporated in 1949, but remained a small agricultural-based community into the 1970s. Although Vinings is not a city, it is one of the main attractions of Cobb County.
